Actor Alan Alda was born to Robert and Joan Alda on January 28, 1936, in The Bronx, New York City, New York, USA. His mother was a previous beauty contest winner, and his father was an actor, singer, and dancer. A fellow actor by the name of Antony Alda is his half-brother. Alan’s father was in the theatre.
