Alessia Cara (born July 11, 1996) is a singer-songwriter from Canada. She is signed to EP Entertainment and Def Jam Recordings and is most known for “Here,” her breakthrough song from Know-It-All, released November 13, 2015, “Stay,” a duet with Zedd, and “Out of Love,” a track off her sophomore album, The Pains Of Growing. Cara’s debut studio album, Know-It-All, debuted at number 8 on the Canadian Albums Chart and number 9 on the US Billboard 200 chart. “Scars To Your Beautiful,” the album’s third song, peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2016.
