Arizona MuseArizona Muse Bio

Arizona Grace is a woman who lives in Arizona. Muse is a fashion model who is half-British and half-American. Muse was born in Tucson, Arizona, and reared in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is the daughter of two musicians. Her father is an American, and her mother is a British national. Muse and his ex-fiancé Manuel Quintana are the parents of a son named Nikko Quintana Muse.

In 2017, she tied the knot with Boniface Verney-Carron in London. In 2018, they welcomed a daughter into the world. Muse began modeling while she was a youngster, but her professional modeling career did not begin until 2009. Muse has appeared in editorials for Vogue, W, V, Numéro, and Dazed & Confused in a variety of languages, including French, American, Chinese, British, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Italian.

Her storey was included in the March 2011 issue of Dazed & Confused magazine. Muse has featured on the covers of Vogue and Numéro in China, Australia, Spain, Greece, Korea, Mexico, Portugal, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine (both photographed by Karl Lagerfeld), as well as Dazed & Confused in the United Kingdom. She was on the cover of Vogue Paris magazine in November 2011

According to WWD, the design icon, who has long been a proponent of environmentally friendly apparel, is set to debut her own collection of party dresses in April. The range, which will be developed in collaboration with Georgie Macintyre, artistic director at Matthew Williamson, will be constructed from environmentally friendly materials.

Muses’s been putting in a lot of rehearsal time in the lead-up to the big launch, having recently collaborated with a group of high-profile designers during London Fashion Week on an event displaying sustainable garments produced from materials she assisted in sourcing. She has also designed four sustainable pieces for the Italian blazer label Blazé Milano, which was recently launched.

Fashion shows and collections are quickly becoming an industry standard for many of the top models working today, with Gigi Hadid working with Tommy Hilfiger for years and Kendall Jenner co-founding the successful ‘Kendall + Kylie brand with her younger sister Kylie Jenner to name a couple of examples. Model Emily Ratajkowski debuted her swimwear line, Inamorata, last year, and rising catwalk star Kaia Gerber is rumored to be working on a collection with designer Karl Lagerfeld.

After becoming pregnant at the age of 19, Arizona Muse has stated that she does not encourage having children “extremely young.” The 32-year-old model is the mother of two children: son Nikko, 12, whom she has with her ex-fiancé Manuel Quintana, and daughter Cy, two, whom she shares with her husband Boniface Verney-Carron. Nikko is the youngest of the couple’s children.

After being signed to Next Models when she was 19 years old, Ms. Muse, who resides in Westminster, has worked with names such as Prada and Chanel since then. While speaking on the most recent episode of the Bear Hug podcast, Ms. Muse expressed her gratitude for her “wonderful boy,” but admitted that being a young mother while still trying to balance her professional life had been difficult.

Arizona Muse’s life has altered dramatically in the years since she rose quickly through the ranks of the fashion industry after opening and closing a Prada show in 2010 as a relative newbie to the business as a model. Magazine covers and advertising campaigns for luxury companies such as Louis Vuitton, Jil Sander, and Fendi followed shortly after.

Rather, her days are now spent with debates about soil, crop resiliency, and everything else related to regenerative agriculture, which she feels has the potential to make a substantial contribution to the battle against climate change. Muse established Dirt, a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of biodynamic farming, in 2021. ‘I’ve been in the modeling industry for a very long time.

I began educating myself about the fashion business and the bad influence that we as a collective are having on the environment and all of the individuals who work along our supply chains when I first became interested. Nothing could keep me from coming back to the ground,” she claims. “I began helping on farms — specifically, on a type of farm known as a biodynamic farm — in 2009.

“I had just fallen in love with biodynamics and was convinced that this sort of regenerative agriculture has the potential to be one of the most significant answers to climate change,” she says. Muse has accepted the responsibility of serving as an ambassador for biodynamic farming, a concept that is unfamiliar to many people outside of the agriculture profession, according to Muse.

“Regenerative farmers are incredible since they don’t use any chemicals at all.” As a result, they’re composting and increasing soil fertility,” she adds further. In addition, biodynamics is a step further away from the regenerative approach.

What you have is a sort of agriculture that employs all of the strategies associated with regenerative agriculture, such as crop rotation, mobile grazing for animals, and composting, and then adds another layer on top of it all. It says, “Okay, so plants have a physical existence that I can interact with, and in some cases eat.”

However, there is unmistakably something inside them that is keeping them alive at this point. When they’re dead, for example, they have a completely different appearance. Biodynamics contains these medications that farm the life within the plants that are used to farm the life within the plants.”

Muse’s modeling career has taken a drastic turn as she has gotten increasingly active in climate advocacy. Muse, now 33, has discovered that the types of modeling proposals she receives today are very different from those she received a decade ago, as are her priorities. “The work that I take as a model at this time is few and far between, and I’m quite picky about who I choose to collaborate with.”

I also make a concerted effort not to travel vast distances. The fact that I would accept a shoot that was in a foreign country is becoming less often these days. For me, it simply doesn’t seem like it’s worth it,” she says. In spite of this, I do continue to model a little bit, and I am grateful to the modeling that I did for providing fuel for my activist work, because I understand that my activism would not have been the same had I not initially been a model.

If I had chosen to become a farmer at the age of 20 instead of a model, my effect as an activist would have been very different.” Muse has lately relocated from London to Ibiza, where they will perform. After experiencing exhaustion as a result of the pandemic lockdowns, she decided to spend some time living on a farm, which convinced her that a different way of life could be beneficial for her and her family.

I found it to be really monotonous, and it was obviously obvious that cities are intended to have people inhabiting them and to be thriving. “I wanted my children to grow up in a natural environment as much as possible. Our choice was influenced by the fact that Ibiza is so lovely and that we have a large number of friends here.”

Bringing her new home into her modeling profession and shining a focus on the local fashion sector are two things Muse would really like to be able to do. Even more than that, I encourage them to work with local teams because there is a wealth of talent in the area, particularly in the fields of hair and makeup and photography. The production firms in this area are incredible. So it’s a genuine pleasure to be able to contribute to the expansion of the local sector in this capacity.”

Muse has been working as an activist for years, but the formation of Dirt has given her a new sense of purpose and direction. In the case of activism, it was difficult to determine the extent of the influence. It’s an amazing pleasure for me to participate in panel discussions, give speeches, and create videos for my Instagram account about the things I’m learning,” she adds.

“However, you never know who will be influenced by it or whether they will actually change their conduct as a result of hearing it. The impact of the work I perform with Dirt is undeniably significant. In other words, it’s about how much land we can cultivate biodynamically. Is it possible to transition as many raw materials, food, and fiber as possible to be grown biodynamically, so that the soil is not harmed and is in fact used for creating energy instead? It’s a substantial amount of money.

I’m ecstatic right now. “I am in love with this.” Fashion photography by Bjorn Frederic Gerling at Production Paris; hair and makeup by Lorenzo Barcella and Luciano Chiarello, both of the Julian Watson Agency; manicure by Sally Derbali; casting by Shaun Beyen at Plus Three Two; model Arizona Muse of DNA; production by Bjorn Frederic Gerling at Production Paris
