St. John began training in martial arts at the age of five and now is a second-degree black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do, a first-degree black belt in Judo, and a practitioner of Shenkito and Kenpo. He spent a lot of time on the road with his Marine dad, and he has always wanted to play baseball for the Boston Red Sox. In school, he excels in political science but struggles with mathematics.
