Benjamin Burnley was born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He later moved to Selinsgrove in Pennsylvania, where he spent the majority of his life. He dropped out of highschool at 18 and moved to Wilkes-Barre in Pennsylvania where he became a friend of Jonathan Price, former Breaking Benjamin bassist.
