Corey Daniel LaJoie is a professional stock car racing driver from the United States. He was born on September 25, 1991. He races the No. 7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series. LaJoie’s father, Randy LaJoie, won two NASCAR Busch Series titles. Formerly, he worked as a test driver for Richard Petty Motorsports. Since beginning his career in kart racing in 1996, LaJoie has won 19 races on both dirt and asphalt circuits. In 2003, he switched to the INEX Bandolero series, where he promptly won 12 races and the series’ Summer Shootout Championship.

Beginning his racing career in 2005 with Legends cars, LaJoie went on to win 10 of 12 races in the Aaron’s Pro Challenge Series in 2006. LaJoie had 17 appearances in the UARA-Stars Late Model Touring Series between 2007 and 2009, with one victory and 10 finishes in the top ten. LaJoie made his NASCAR Camping World East Series debut in 2009 at Thompson Speedway; he continued racing in the series until the 2012 season, when he won for the first time, at Bowman Gray Stadium; he went on to win four more races that year and place second in points.
