His racing lineage begins in the 1950s, with his Great Uncle, who paved the way for him on the Midwestern short track circuit. In the early 1990s, Stremme drove his mother’s street stock car to victory at New Paris Speedway. Nonetheless, he was briefly compelled to stop driving when track authorities discovered he was just 15 years old.
