American actor Doug E. Doug was born Douglas Bourne on January 7, 1970. At 17, he began doing stand-up comedy professionally. He is most known for his roles as Griffin Vesey on Cosby (CBS), Sanka Coffie in Cool Runnings (film), and Bernie (voice) in Shark Tale (animated film). Douglas Bourne was born to a Jamaican father and an African-American mother in Brooklyn, New York.
