Everette Edward Carpenter, Jr. is an American auto racing driver who was born on March 3, 1981. He is presently participating in the IndyCar Series for his team, Ed Carpenter Racing, which is based in the United States. He is the stepson of Tony George, who was the creator of the Indy Racing League. Since he began his career in the midget racing circuit in 1989, Carpenter has enjoyed great success.
