French racing driver Emmanuel Collard was born on April 3, 1971. He has raced for multiple manufacturers, including Porsche, and was formerly a part of the Porsche Junioren factory squad. Collard, a native of Arpajon, Essonne, won the Le Mans Series in 2005 and 2006 for Pescarolo Sport with Jean-Christophe Boullion and in 2011 for Pescarolo Team with Julien Jousse. While racing in the 2008 12 Hours of Sebring, he was a co-driver for the winning team. In addition to his time with Ligier-Ford in 1990, he also spent time as a test driver for Prost Grand Prix and Benetton in Formula One.

This 34-year-old Frenchman is a former Porsche Michelin Supercup driver with a wealth of expertise in international sports car endurance racing. After finishing third in 1995 and second in 1994, Collard won the 1996 Porsche Supercup by claiming victory in five Supercup events while driving a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup vehicle. In 1995, he rode in a Porsche RSR GT1 with Ortelli and Dupuy, and in 1997, he rode in a Porsche GT1 with Dalmas and Kelleners. Using a Pescarolo Hybrid, Collard came in second at this year’s Le Mans. In addition to his Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona victory, he also has experience driving for Toyota and Cadillac in factory efforts at Le Mans, and he drove a Pontiac prototype to victory this year.
