Giuseppe Bausilio (born June 20, 1997) is a Swiss actor, dancer, and singer. Bausilio has starred on Broadway and in Chicago and on tour with the national production of Billy Elliot the Musical, and he has played both Race and Davey in the New York production of Newsies the Musical. In addition to his roles as Michael Fiorelli in the upcoming 2020 film Ode to Passion, he played Alfie in the fourth season of the Canadian television series The Next Step. Bausilio started his professional career acting in various operas and ballets at the Bern Theatre and Theater am Kafigturm in his birthplace of Bern, Switzerland.Bausilio received an invitation to audition for the role of “Billy” in Billy Elliot the Musical after coming third in a dancing competition.

He, along with Cesar Corrales, Tommy Batchelor, and J.P. Viernes, were cast in the play after the audition. The production will take place in Chicago. He was a part of the performance until October 10, 2010, when he transferred to the National Tour.Following the departure of Jacob Clemente as “Billy” in the Broadway production of Billy Elliot the Musical, Bausilio was named as his replacement in May 2011.Bausilio made his Broadway Debut in July, and stayed with the play till November 6, 2011.
