Jann Arden CM is a Canadian singer-songwriter and actor. Her greatest success to date is the ballad “Insensitive,” and her hallmark song is “Could I Be Your Girl.” Jann Arden attended Springbank Community High School after moving there as a kid from her birthplace in Calgary. Her dad worked in construction, while her mom was a dental assistant. She’s the second-to-youngest of three kids. Arden’s childhood was marred by a tumultuous family dynamic. Arden received six awards from the Alberta Recording Industry in 1994, and she gave thanks to each of them.
