After her sister Jenna passed away unexpectedly in 2011 from an inoperable brain tumor, Adams began performing stand-up comedy in 2011. Prior to Jenna’s passing, Adams and her sister had competed in dance competitions together for 13 years at their aunt’s dancing school in Bristol.
