Racing driver Jon Fogarty (born May 23, 1975 in Palo Alto, California) represents GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing in the United SportsCar Championship. He has won the Atlantic Title twice and the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series Daytona Prototype drivers’ championship twice. From 1996 through 2000, Fogarty raced in the Barber Dodge Pro Series. Twice, he finished as the series’ runner-up. After an injury-plagued 2001 season in Indy Lights, he switched to Toyota Atlantic the following year and narrowly defeated Michael Valiante to win the title. He tried to get a ride in Champ Car in 2003 but failed, and then won his second consecutive Toyota Atlantic title in 2004 with six victories. After failing to get a seat in a Champ Car, Fogarty switched to sports car racing, competing in the 2005 American Le Mans Series with Flying Lizard Motorsports.

He and co-driver Johannes van Overbeek were third in the GT2 drivers’ championship. While he did play in several games in 2006, he only started a few of them. The year 2006 saw Fogarty’s debut in the Rolex Sports Car Series, as he competed for GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing in the Daytona Prototype class. In 2007, when paired with Alex Gurney, they won the Daytona Prototype drivers’ title with a series record seven victories and 10 pole positions. With one win and eight further top-five finishes in 2008, Fogarty and Gurney were runner-up in the championship standings. In 2009, the 99 GAINSCO Riley Pontiac won four races and six pole positions on their way to a second Daytona Prototype championship.
