Kenny Bernstein Biography:

Hello, friends! Are you a follower of Kenny Bernstein? Would you like to know about his personal or professional life?

If yes, so you came to the right place. We have shared his fanmail above. This article will give you all the information you need about Kenny Bernstein.

Kenny Bernstein is a former NASCAR and IndyCar team owner and racer from the United States. He is known as “the Bud King” because of his dominance in the Budweiser King funny car and dragster competitions. Because he was the first driver to go faster than 300 miles per hour in a quarter mile from a standstill, he earned the moniker “King of Speed.” Although Bernstein’s primary focus was on the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), his company, King Racing, also fielded entries in other series, including IndyCar and NASCAR. In 2002, Bernstein withdrew from full-time racing and put his son Brandon in the Bud King Top Fuel dragster. However, when Brandon sustained a serious injury, Bernstein came back to complete the season in Brandon’s stead. After briefly returning to the Funny Car in 2007, Bernstein spent the next seven years managing his team until retiring from the sport of drag racing at the conclusion of the 2011 season.

Following the tragic loss of Funny Car driver Scott Kalitta in 2008, Bernstein collaborated with 14-time Funny Car champion John Force, 6-time Top Fuel champion Tony Schumacher, and the NHRA’s Track Safety Committee to create a sensor to monitor the engines of Top Fuel dragsters and Funny Cars. If the engine were to backfire at any point, the fuel pump would immediately cut power, and the chutes would open. The goal of this action is to mitigate or get rid of the factors that led to Kalitta’s death. Bernstein secured Copart Inc. as a sponsor for Brandon’s dragster when Budweiser dropped his squad. In 2011, Lucas Oil also joined them. Bernstein announced his retirement from NHRA racing on November 15, 2011, two days after the 2011 season ended.
