American country singer and TV personality Lynn Renée Anderson (born September 26, 1947) passed away on July 30, 2015. Her classic crossover album, “Rose Garden,” peaked at #1 in the US and elsewhere in its release. She has five number-one hits and eighteen other singles in the top 10 on the Billboard country music chart. Anderson has been recognized as a major figure in the history of country music. She was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, but moved to California with her mother, country singer Liz Anderson.
