Mick Jagger  Bio

Michael Philip Jagger was born on July 26, 1943, in Dartford, Kent. He met Keith Richards when he was four years old and stayed in touch with him until they both went to high schools and lost connection. However, they happened to cross paths on the Dartford railroad line in 1960 and learned they shared a common passion.

Mick recorded “State of Shock” with The Jacksons in May 1984, which inspired him to pursue a solo career. As a result, he recorded his debut solo album in September, featuring guests such as Pete Townshend and Jeff Beck. The Rolling Stones decided to record their first album under a new Sony Records deal just before the album’s release.

Mick Taylor’s solo attempts were not well received by Keith Richards, who preferred that Mick stays with The Rolling Stones. In July 1985, at the Stage Aid benefit performance in Philadelphia, Jagger made his first solo live appearance. The Rolling Stones were supposed to perform, but they decided against it because things were not going well for them. Mick worked on his second solo album, “Primitive Cool,” in 1986, hoping for commercial success, but it was not to be. His 1988 tour, on the other hand, was a huge success, selling out throughout Japan.

But Mick understood that the only way to maintain his success was to rejoin The Rolling Stones, so he and Keith Richards rejoined in January 1989 and began writing songs for the upcoming “Steel Wheels” album. The Rolling Stones embarked on a big worldwide tour following the publication of the album, which included special performances at London’s Wembley Stadium. Unfortunately, in 1992, Bill Wyman, the Rolling Stones’ bassist, announced his departure from the band, which was to take place the next year.

Despite their disappointment at seeing him leave, The Rolling Stones agreed that he had been in the studio for far too long and that they had no choice but to let him go. During this time, Jagger released more solo material, but it was not as well received. The Rolling Stones returned to the road in 1994 with the album “Voodoo Lounge.” The Rolling Stones’ first project without Bill Wyman.

The tour was the most successful in rock history, grossing more than $300 million. After the success of this tour, they returned in 1997 with the two-year-long “Bridges to Babylon” album and tour, which was paired with the “No Security” live album and tour. Jagger’s marriage was in jeopardy after the tour ended because he had another child from a secret love affair. His marriage to Jerry Hall had terminated shortly after this was discovered. Jagger has worked as a film producer and a solo artist since then.

He produced the film Enigma (2001) and released the CD “Goddess in the Doorway” in 2001, which was a commercial disappointment. But have no worry, the Stones have now announced a 40th Anniversary tour, which will begin in September 2002. in rock ‘n’ roll with a touch of blues The Rolling Stones were formed between 1960 and 1962. Mick led the band with lead vocals and harmonica, Keith Richards played guitar, Bill Wyman played bass, Charlie Watts played drums, and Brian Jones played guitar.

The Rolling Stones released their first album, “The Rolling Stones,” in 1964. “The Last Time,” which was followed by “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction,” became their first number one hit in the UK in 1965. They toured the world from 1966 to 1969, with songs including “Let’s Spend the Night Together” (1967) and “Sympathy for the Devil” (1969). (1968). Brian Jones, however, committed suicide in 1969, and Mick and Keith Richards were held responsible. But the fusion fizzled out, and they replaced Brian with Mick Taylor, another guitarist.

The song “Honky Tonk Woman” was included on their 1969 album “Let it Bleed.” After completing a North American tour, Jagger went on to play retiring rock star Turner in Performance (1970). ” The Rolling Stones returned in 1971 with “Sticky Fingers,” which would go on to become their most popular album. Songs like “Wild Horses” and “Brown Sugar” were enormous hits all over the world and came from this album. Bianca Jagger gave birth to Jagger’s daughter, Jade Jagger, while all of this was going on.

With singles like “Angie” (1973), “It’s Only Rock and Roll” (1974), “Hot Stuff” (1976), and “Respectable” (1977), The Rolling Stones performed thousands of live shows and sold millions of records during the 1970s (1978). Ronnie Wood had taken over on guitar from Mick Taylor in 1974, and both Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood played lead guitar. After divorcing Bianca Jagger in 1980, Jagger went on to record and distribute “Emotional Rescue” with The Rolling Stones, which went platinum.

In 1981, the group published “Tattoo You,” and embarked on their first major world tour in three years, which sold out stadiums in the United States and arenas across Europe. After the tour concluded in 1982, Jagger began to enjoy different types of music. At the Compass Point in Nassau, The Rolling Stones recorded the album “Undercover” in 1983. However, the recording sessions did not go well since Mick and Keith Richard were arguing about the type of music the group should play at the moment. Despite the album’s success, The Rolling Stones appeared to be on the verge of breaking up.

Assisi Jagger, born in July 1992, and Amba Jagger, born in 1996, are the children of his daughter Jade Jagger.
