American basketball coach Michael Andre Anderson is in charge of the St. John’s Red Storm team. He had been the head coach at UAB, Missouri, and Arkansas before joining the St. John’s staff. For the most part of 17 years, he worked as Nolan Richardson’s associate head coach at Arkansas as Richardson’s assistant. In his 20 years as a head coach, Anderson has amassed a 414-235 record, guided his team to 11 20-win seasons, made 9 trips to the NCAA Tournament, and led his team to the Sweet 16 twice and the Elite Eight once (in 2009).
