A Swedish rally driver named Patrik Sandell. After winning the 2004 Swedish Junior Championship, Sandell went on to claim the 2005 Swedish Group N3 Championship. He was driving for Renault when he won the Junior World Rally Championship (JWRC) in 2006. Sandell competed in both the Junior World Rally Championship and Production World Rally Championship in 2008. (PWRC).

It was in 2013 that Sandell became a member of Olsbergs MSE, where he drove a Ford Fiesta in the Global RallyCross Championship. He ended up in sixth place overall and on the podium twice. In 2014, he took home one race victory and placed sixth in the season’s championship standings. In 2015, he started racing with Bryan Herta Rallysport with support from Kobalt Tools.

Sandell moved to Subaru Rally Team USA for the 2017 season and ultimately placed ninth in points. On the season’s first race in Atlantic City, he finished on the podium for the first time. Sandell continued to race with the team in 2018 and placed third in points in the first season of the Americas Rallycross series. Sandell also competed in and won all three stage rally competitions he entered in 2018 with the American Rally Association. In 2019, Sandell will continue to race for the renamed Subaru Motorsports team in Americas Rallycross.
