Rabih Abdullah is a former running back for the American football team. Abdullah went to high school in his hometown of Roselle, New Jersey, where he participated in three varsity sports and earned a letter in each. He was a two-way starter in football and was honored as an All-County, All-Conference, and All-State performer.
In 1998, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Abdullah as an undrafted free agent. He spent three seasons with the organization, mostly contributing on special teams but also starting one game at running back. He had a contract with the Chicago Bears starting in 2002 but was cut before the 2004 season even began. He joined the Patriots after the start of the season, was cut in November, and left the team right before the holiday break. Since he re-signed with the Patriots, he was able to participate in Super Bowl XXXIX as a member of the team, making him just the second graduate of Lehigh University to do so.
