If yes, so you came to the right place. We have shared his fanmail above. This article will give you all the information you need about Ron Ferdinand.

American artist Ron Ferdinand has been contributing to Hank Ketcham’s ‘Dennis the Menace’ since 1981. He first gained recognition as the primary artist of the Sunday newspaper comic in late 1982, when he began contributing to Marvel Comics’ ‘Dennis’ comic book. In 1951, on the wealthy West Side of Manhattan, New York, the world was introduced to Ronald Herbert Ferdinand. He first became interested in animation as a kid, thanks to shows like “Crusader Rabbit,” “Colonel Bleep,” “Clutch Cargo,” and many more from Hanna-Barbera. In the early 1970s, he studied at the Manhattan School of Visual Arts and then spent a year at the Art Students League under the tutelage of artist Gustav Rehberger, studying the fundamentals of anatomy. Before learning in early 1981 that Hank Ketcham was looking for helpers to help develop “Dennis the Menace,” Ferdinand spent his first six years in the workforce making circuit boards.

Ron Ferdinand was recruited after they corresponded for a while and Ketcham provided him several humour to rough up and ink. Moving to Ketcham’s California home studio in September 1981, Ferdinand worked with Karen Matchette and Brian Lum on Marvel Comics’ ‘Dennis the Menace’ (1981–1982) comic book. Once drawn by Bob Bugg, Ferdinand and Matchette took over the “Dennis” Sunday comics after Bugg left. Eventually, Ferdinand was the only artist for this Sunday comic. Before passing the baton to Marcus Hamilton in 1994, Ketcham continued to supervise, although he spent most of his time on the daily panel. After Ketcham passed away in 2001, the ‘Dennis the Menace’ Sunday comic was taken up by Ron Ferdinand of Pine Bush, New York.
