John Sturgill Simpson was born on June 8th, 1978. is a country music singer, songwriter, and actor from the United States of America.As of the month of February 2022, he has issued a total of seven albums under his own name as a solo artist. Independent record labels distributed his debut album, High Top Mountain, and his second album, Metamodern Sounds in Country Music, in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
