
Sudha Murty Biography :
Sudha Murthy was born on 19th August 1950. She’s a writer and an active Indian social worker. She contributes the NGO, Infosys Foundation and She’s also a jury of Public Health Care Initiatives of the Gates Foundation. Sudha Murthy finished her degree in Engineering from, Hubli. She came in Karnataka. This accomplishment was rewarded with a gold medal in the CM of Karnataka. In in1974, she completed her Post Graduation in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. There too she came and thus got a gold medal in the Indian Institute of Engineers. She’s the pillar for the success of Infosys Foundation. She’s still connected with her husband to develop the firm.
She’s a fantastic philanthropist, she’s started a move to provide all government schools in Karnataka with provisioning of library and computer. She’s also a excellent writer. Mrs. Murthy has penned down different stories, which deal with overall lives and her ideas on charity. She’s donated generously and has assembled numerous public bathrooms in Bangalore.

Career
Mrs. Murthy became the first female scientist hired India’s biggest car manufacturer TELCO (Tata Engineering and Locomotive Company) today Tata motors. She worked as Development Engineer in various areas such as Pune, Mumbai, and Jamshedpur. She had raised the matter of ‘men-only” gender bias issues in the corporation. The Chairman of TELCO noted her dilemma and called her for a special interview.
She subsequently worked as Senior System Analyst in Walchand set of Industries in Pune. After being in Pune from 1974- 1981, Sudha Murthy transferred to Mumbai. Sudha Murthy had led her Rs. 10,000 rescue to the company Infosys, at the founding of the firm. In 1996 she began with the Infosys Foundation and has been a Trustee of Infosys Foundation. She loves teaching hence pursue her interest in providing training and knowledge to students in PG Center of Bangalore University as Visiting Professor too in educated in Christ College.
Being an Author, Mrs. Murthy has published many stories. Her writing had a taste of common lives. She wrote on her youth, realizing views on charity and donations. Many of her Kannada books got translated into English and a few got adapted into TV series. Many of her works were children’s series. Among her famous work was the “How I taught my grandma to read and other tales”. The publication was translated into 15 other languages. It reflects her youth association with her paternal grandparents. Her first novel titled House of Cards narrates the turmoil faced by the spouse of a lucrative physician.
From the beginning of her education, she’d won several prestigious awards. Sudha Murthy got recognized for its Raja-Lakshmi award by the Sri Raja-Lakshmi Foundation in Chennai in 2004. She won the award for her outstanding performance is Social works. She won the Padma Shri, the fourth highest ranking official according to the Government of India and even acquired a doctorate for her books.
