Taylor Gray is a professional stock car racing driver from the United States. He was born on March 25, 2005. In the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, he drives the No. 17 Toyota Tundra for TRICON Garage when he is not competing full-time in another series. Gray had his first appearance in a late model in March of 2018, at the age of 12, competing in the Paramount Auto Group Limited Late Model Series at Hickory Motor Speedway. He did so while driving for Lee Faulk Racing and Development. He produced a remarkable performance and came in sixth place overall in the race. After two months, he went back to Hickory to compete in the same series and won his first late model race. During the whole race, he was either in first or second place, and he finished the race in that position.
Gray and his brother Tanner were both signed by DGR-Crosley in 2019, with Tanner driving full-time in the K&N Pro Series East and Taylor driving full-time in the CARS Late Model Stock Tour. Since Taylor was under the age of 15, he was ineligible to compete in a NASCAR series at the time, so he drove full-time in the CARS Late Model Stock Tour. Gray won the CARS race he was competing in at Hickory Motor Speedway in despite the fact that it was just his second appearance at the circuit. This gave him a total of two victories at Hickory Motor Speedway. Gray finished the year ranked ninth in points, having competed in all races except for two that he missed in the middle of the season.
