Her big break came when she joined the musical group S Club 7 in 1999. Since 2014, she has performed with S Club Allstars, formerly known as “S Club 3.” She also used to be a part of the female group Mis-Teeq. However, she was never featured on any of their albums. Tina Barrett’s parents, an Englishman and a Guyanese woman, gave birth to her in Hammersmith, London. For eight years, she studied at London’s Arts Educational School.

When she was starting, she danced in a pantomime alongside Lionel Blair. She was supposed to be a member of Face2Face until the band morphed into Mis-Teeq.
