Anthony Frank Hawk, often known as Birdman, is an American professional skateboarder, businessman, and proprietor of the Birdhouse skateboard brand. Hawk was born on May 12, 1968. Hawk, a forerunner of contemporary vertical skateboarding, executed the first known “900” feat in 1999. In the same year, Activision released a series of skateboarding video games with his name on them. He is recognised as one of the most important skateboarders of all time and gave up professional competition in 2003. Nancy  gave birth to Tony Hawk on May 12, 1968 in San Diego, California. He was reared in San Diego together with Frank Peter Rupert Hawk. Pat and Lenore are his two elder sisters, while Steve is his older brother.


Hawk’s mother said that as a youngster, he was “very harsh on himself and expected himself to achieve so many things,” and that he was “hyperactive.Hawk was once so upset after a baseball game that he hid in a gully and needed to be “physically pulled out” by his father. His self-disgust was so extreme that his parents made him undergo a psychiatric examination at school. Given that Tony’s IQ score of 144 indicated that he was “talented,” school counsellors advised enrolling him in advanced courses. Hawk went at Jean Farb Middle School in 1980 and 1981. He later went back for the Rick Reilly show Homecoming, when he put up a ramp and gave a skateboarding demonstration. His parents encouraged him to skateboard since it gave him a way to release his surplus energy. Hawk’s abilities improved, and at the age of 14, he became pro.  He held the title of official National Skateboard Association world champion for 12 years running.
