Travis Wade Kvapil is a professional stock car driver from the United States of America. He was born on March 1, 1976. The most recent racing series in which he took part was the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series, in which he drove the No. 1 Chevrolet Silverado for Beaver Motorsports. He won the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2003 and was crowned champion. Kvapil spent his childhood helping his father work on cars in the garage, so racing was a logical development for the man who was born and raised in Wisconsin. Kvapil made his debut in the sport of auto racing in 1992 at the age of 16, when he competed in the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series at Rockford Speedway. Later on, in 1994 in Rockford, he triumphed in the competition for the American Short Tracker division track championship. After moving up to the super late models in 1995 at Madison International Speedway, often known as “Wisconsin’s Fastest Half-Mile,” he was awarded the Rookie of the Year title for the circuit. A year later, in 1996, he won the championship for the Late Model division at the circuit. Kvapil, who was just 20 years old at the time, was given this accolade, making him the youngest person to ever win the championship at the track.

Kvapil went on to compete in the ARTGO Series, which is a touring series for asphalt short-track motor racing in the Midwest. From 1998 to 2000, he consistently ranked in the top ten in terms of points. Kvapil made his debut in the Craftsman Truck Series in the year 2001. He did it while driving for Addington Racing in the Chevrolet numbered 60, which was sponsored by CAT Rental Stores. Kvapil won his first Truck Series race in the Silverado 350 at Texas Motor Speedway, which was his 21st start overall in the series. Kvapil finished fourth in the driver standings and won the Craftsman Truck Series Rookie of the Year award thanks to his 18 finishes in the top 10 of the race. Kvapil also had the opportunity to compete in a race with the formidable Richard Childress Racing team in the Busch Series at Kentucky. However, he had a horrible performance and ended up flipping his car in a late accident. Kvapil was able to tie his victory total in 2002 after taking first place in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 200 race that was held at Memphis Motorsports Park. At the end of the season, he ended with 14 finishes in the top ten, enough for ninth place in the driver points standings.
