Zara Maria Larsson is a popular Swedish composer and winner of ‘Talang’ Swedish reality show. At the age of 10 in 2008 she participated in the Swedish version of the ‘Got Talent’ talent hunt show. She competed before famous judges Bert Karlsson, Sofia Wistam, and Tobbe Blom as a music artist and singer and won the second season of ‘Talang’ with significant audience support. She secured a recording deal with the ‘TEN Music Group’ label following national fame and released her first EP entitled ‘Introducing’ in 2013.

The soulful singer published two extended plays and two music albums that received critical acknowledgment since her introduction into the music industry. Zara Maria Larsson was born in Agnetha and Anders Larsson on 16 December 1997 in Stockholm, Sweden. Her delivery was challenging as she was clogged in the “nuchal cord” and because of a lack of oxygen could not breathe.Zara has Hanna Larsson, a younger sister. Hanna and Zara grew up together singing and playing. Today, her sister is part of the singing duo ‘Hanna & Andrea.’

She was offered to attend the “Adolf Fredrik’s music school” because of her vocal variety and deep understanding of music but denied the offer since she did not want to perform in a chorus and was focused to become a solo artist.Actually, she did not undergo a formal vocal instruction. She trained by hearing popular performers such as Beyonce, whom she also sees as an artist and a humanitarian figure.

Zara was performing ‘Talang Sverige’ or ‘Sweden’s Got Talent’ on May 2008 for the reality show. At that time she was just ten years old, but managed to impress the judges with a strong, reassuring voice.The panel of judges included Sofia Wistam, Tobbe Blom and Bert Karlsson couldn’t get enough of the little artist from amongst the different acts presented by various participants in the exhibit.The show was broadcast on national television in April 2008 and all its shows were heavily supported by public voting that ensured progress.

In 2014, she was nominated to the ‘Best Swedish Star’ category for the ‘Kids Choice Awards,’ as well as to ‘Best Song’ for her song ‘Uncover’ in the ‘Gaygalan,’ ‘P3 Guld’ and ‘Grammis.’ However, same year, at the “Rockbjornen Awards,” she took home the ‘Best Female Live Artist.’
In 2015, she was nominated for ‘Best Song – Carry You Home’ and ‘Artist of the Year’ in the ‘Grammis.’ She was also nominated for “Favorite Swedish Artist” by the Kids Choice Awards.
