Football coach and former center and guard in the NFL, David Franklin Alexander now works with high school players. Over the course of 10 years, he was a member of the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets of the National Football League. He attended the University of Tulsa and was selected in the fifth round of the 1987 NFL Draft after a successful college football career.

After retiring from the military, Alexander started a bespoke homebuilding company and trained to become a coach. He spent seven years at Jenks High School (Oklahoma) as an assistant football coach. In 2005–2006, he also led the af2 arena football team Tulsa Talons as their head coach. He graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1982 and moved on to become the running backs coach there in 2013, thus he left Jenks to return to his alma mater. This man was introduced as the new head football coach at Broken Arrow in January 2014. Despite leading Broken Arrow to a state title in 2018, head coach Alexander was let go after the 2020 season.
