Hélio Castroneves is a Brazilian car racing driver. His full name is Hélio Alves de Castro Neves, and he was born on May 10, 1975. The Portuguese pronunciation of his name is [lju kastu nvis]. He has a record-tying four victories at the Indianapolis 500, which he achieved in 2001, 2002, 2009, and 2021 respectively. He was the runner-up for the IndyCar Series drivers’ championship in 2002, 2008, 2013, and 2014, and he won the 2021 and 2022 editions of the 24 Hours of Daytona while driving for Wayne Taylor Racing and Meyer Shank Racing, respectively.
