Anderson, Kenneth Allan, is an ex-American football quarterback who played for the Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL. As a position coach, he eventually came back. After his time at Augustana College, Anderson was picked by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 3rd round of the 1971 NFL Draft. Anderson led the NFL in passer rating four times, completion % three times, and passing yards twice throughout the course of his 16-year career in the NFL. After leading the Bengals to their first Super Bowl trip in 1981, he was named the league’s most valuable player and offensive player of the year by the Associated Press. The 70.6% completion percentage established by Anderson in 1982 lasted almost 30 years, until it was surpassed by Drew Brees in 2009.

Anderson set new team marks for throwing attempts, passing yards, and interceptions for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2021. From 1987 through 1993, Anderson worked as a radio announcer for the Cincinnati Bengals after retiring from professional football.
