In 2010, Reeve Carney played Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the record-breaking Broadway musical “Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark.” Reeve, a lifelong musician, jumped at the chance to perform a score written by U2’s Bono and The Edge—not to mention the chance to meet Bono and The Edge. Reeve grew up in Manhattan’s West Village neighbourhood with his brother Zane and sister Paris. He grew up in a musical and acting family: his father, John, was a commercial songwriter, his mother, Marti, was a singer, actress, and jewellery designer, and his great uncle was Academy Award-winning actor Art Carney.
