U.S.C.C. racer Scott Sharp is an American professional driver. The late Bob Sharp, a six-time SCCA champion, is his father’s hero. Sharp’s career as a race car driver in the Indy Racing League is what brought him the most fame. Sharp, who started racing karts at age eight and won 50 of 75 races, was born in Norwalk, Connecticut. Sharp’s resume includes several titles in the SCCA’s GT-2, GT-1, and Trans-Am classes from 1986–1988 and again in 1991–1993. Sharp entered just one race in the 1992 season of NASCAR’s Winston Cup Series, which took place at Watkins Glen.
