Tony Adler has a stellar reputation in the production industry because of his three decades of expertise in every role. His role as the first assistant director on the Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning film “American Beauty” is only one of several notable productions for which he is known. Tony began his career as a PA on Milos Foreman’s “Ragtime,” and his optimistic outlook and hard work eventually elevated him to the position of 2nd AD on many films until he finally established his footing as a renowned first assistant director and producer. Tony has worked as a location manager, unit production manager, and line producer in addition to his assistant director roles (second AD, 1984–1990; first AD, 1991–present). Working with 20th Century Fox, Regency Pictures, Rainstorm Productions, Emerald Pictures, and Redtie Films as a consultant for budgeting and scheduling. From 1988 through 1994, Tony was the head of the production for the video and commercial production firm he co-founded called Stage Presence.
Tony has participated in many global, large-scale initiatives.
