In 1975, Atlas got his start in the sport competing for the National Wrestling Alliance World Wide/Mid Atlantic. On July 10, he made his ring debut alongside Bob Bruggers in a tag team battle against Art Neilson and The Blue Scorpion. Atlas put the Blue Scorpion in a sleeper hold and won the match for his squad. Throughout his career, he was affiliated with numerous promotions, including World Championship Wrestling (WCW), the National Wrestling Alliance (NWAJim )’s Crockett Promotions, the World Wrestling Council (WWC), World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW), the American Wrestling Association (AWA), and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF.
