Originally from New Jersey, American race car racer and entrepreneur Joseph Clanton was born on November 1, 1972. In 2002, he won the American Speed Association stock car series, which no longer exists. The man also owns two Zaxby’s restaurants. Clanton made his debut in the then-NASCAR Busch Series in the 2003 Hardee’s 250 at Richmond International Raceway. For Brewco Motorsports, he qualified and raced in the #27 Trim Spa Pontiac, ultimately finishing in 22nd place. After competing in 17 more races, Clanton would achieve only one more top-10 result, a 5th place showing at Pikes Peak.
