Kathleen York is an American actress, screenwriter, and singer-songwriter nominated for an Academy Award. “In the Deep,” from the film Crash, garnered her an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song. Musically, York became famous all over the world because of her song “In the Deep,” which she co-wrote and co-composed with Michael Becker. It was composed for the 2005 film Crash and can be found on her album of the same name, Wicked Little High.
