Actress and singer Lucie Désirée Arnaz was born in the United States on July 17, 1951. She is the daughter of famous performers Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. Arnaz is the sister of another actor named Desi Arnaz Jr., and she was born in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Her parents are Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. When she was ten years old, she and her brother moved to New York City, where they spent a few years. During that time, she attended St. Vincent Ferrer School and afterward Roman Catholic Immaculate Heart High School. Following a few guest appearances on her mother’s The Lucy Show, Arnaz made her acting debut in a recurring role in the 1968–1974 TV series Here’s Lucy. Lucille Ball, Arnaz’s real-life mother, portrayed the title character, Lucy, and Kim Carter, Arnaz’s character, was Lucy’s daughter.
