Paul di Resta (born April 16, 1986) is a Scottish-born British racing driver currently driving for Peugeot Sport in the LMH entry of the FIA World Endurance Championship. From 2011 to 2013, he raced for Force India in Formula One. In 2016, he joined the Williams F1 team’s reserve roster and rode in one race the following year. Despite his success in the DTM and F3 Euro Series, di Resta was unable to secure a Formula 1 seat for 2014 and instead returned to Mercedes for the DTM season. He serves as a commentator for Sky Sports’ Formula One coverage and is a reserve driver for McLaren in 2022.

Di Resta was born in Uphall, Scotland, and grew up in Bathgate, West Lothian. He is of Italian ancestry. He attended Bathgate Academy and now cheers for Celtic. His racing cousins Dario and Marino Franchitti are also famous, and he’s currently making his home in Monaco.
