Germany’s professional racing driver Timo Glock (born March 18, 1982) also competes as a works driver for BMW Motorsport. His Formula One career included stints with the Jordan, Toyota, Virgin Racing, and Marussia F1 teams. In 2008 and 2009, he placed 10th in the Drivers Championship and won three podiums. Following his retirement from F1 in 2013, Glock joined BMW as a works driver in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, competing for BMW Team MTEK. He earned his first DTM podium at the Red Bull Ring and his first DTM victory at the season-ending Hockenheimring.

Glock started racing cars in 1998, when he was only 15 years old. He was born in Lindenfels, West Germany. He’s a multiple-time winner of karting championships and the 2000 and 2001 BMW ADAC Formula Junior Cup and Formula BMW ADAC Championship, respectively. In 2002, as a rookie, he finished third in the standings of the German Formula Three Championship. In 2003, he raced in the Formula Three Euroseries and finished sixth in the Championship after winning three races and finishing on the podium three additional times. Since Giorgio Pantano had a contract conflict with Jordan Grand Prix, they recruited Timo Glock as their test driver for the 2004 Formula One season. Glock made his Formula One debut in the Canadian Grand Prix. In his first race, he finished 11th but picked up two points since the Williams and Toyota cars were disqualified.
